The 2025 Absa L’Atelier is officially open for entries – a chance for your work to be seen, celebrated, and supported on a continental stage.
Here’s how to enter:
  • Submit a portfolio of 4 or 5 original artworks
  • Open to artists from 12 African countries
  • Deadline: 31 May 2025 at 17:00 (SAST/GMT+2)

For 21 years, the Absa L’Atelier Gerard Sekoto Award has been proudly supported by Absa South Africa, the French Institute of South Africa, and SANAVA.
