The Embassy of France and the French Development Agency work with South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi to realise democratic, participatory governance. This partnership is based on our common values and the understanding that all stakeholders—governments, civil society and the private sector—have a responsibility to play. This association forms part of our international commitments to upholding human rights at home and in all our foreign relations.

#FOCUS ON “From the Cave's Mouth” animation movieThe animation movie “From the Cave's Mouth” was selected to be screened at the 29th New York African Film Festival (NYAFF29) as an official animation selection as part of the official film roster. This animation film was bought to life through the 2019 Tshimologong Precinct Animation Jam in partnership with Gobelins, l'école de l'image - Page officielle. The film was selected for its unique aesthetic and use of the Khoi dialect which would be well suited to the festival in showcasing proudly African content.
