WATCH: South Africa Cinematographic & Audiovisual co-production Webinar

Arts and Creative Industries

Our first France – South Africa Cinematographic & Audiovisual co-production Webinar took place on the 28th of September 2023.

France and South Africa are proud to announce their new cinematographic and audiovisual co-production agreement.  The only agreement of this scale between France and the African continent, it will encourage creation of new content and narratives by broadening and stimulating co-production between our two countries.

To inform film practitioners about the co-production agreement as well as how to apply, the French Institute of South Africa, the French Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) and the Department of Trade and International Competition (DTIC) are hosting two webinars.

The first webinar was a fruitful event, and we are excited to see so many interested parties in the webinar and look forward to seeing what potential collaborations and projects this may bring.
