Francophonie competitions 2018

Education
Stand a chance to win one of many fantastic prizes, among which, 3 fabulous trips to France or Reunion Island, gift vouchers, cash prizes and more.
The French Embassy in South Africa is pleased to announce that entries for the 2018 edition of the Francophonie competition are open. This competition is a great opportunity for South African youth to reflect on what heritage is and explore this year’s theme, “La mémoire”.

In 2018, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Nelson Mandela centenary, we are reminded of the importance and power of memory. The French national audiovisual institute (INA – Institut National de l’Audiovisuel) accomplished a remarkable task by digitizing and restoring the Rivonia trial records, great work in order to keep the memory of the struggle against apartheid alive.

We hope this year’s competition will inspire young people to preserve, maintain and celebrate their heritage. As always, participants stand a chance to win great prizes, including three trips to France.

Bonne chance à tous !
