Mobile Film Festival – A South African movie in the official selection

Arts and Creative Industries

50 films from 34 countries have been selected and make up the official selection!

All films are available on the Mobile Film Festival’s social networks Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram and are subtitled in French, English and Spanish.

We are particularly proud to have a South African film in the official selection. Directed by Lara Charlene Taylor, the film is a playful stop-frame animation showing the basics of composting. Using a combination of action figures, a cardboard fairy house, and real compost ingredients, I am showing how easy it is to compost. The two dolls have a conversation and explain how they can put their ruined apple into the compost to make more compost.
