Le Bridge demonstrates how collaboration in AI can drive innovation 🤖

On Wednesday 24th January 2024, the French South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FSACCI), in collaboration with the French Tech, hosted the second edition of Le Bridge.

Hosted by FSACCI’s platinum member Mazars South Africa, the second edition of Le Bridge focused on collaboration between corporate giants and start-ups in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme unfolded as follows:

– Mazars South Africa’s Innovation Senior Manager, Victor Faurie touched on AI’s potential to enhance productivity in the field of auditing and accounting.

– CEO of Veza Interactive, Mmuso Mafisa shared case studies as an AI entrepreneur working with corporates including UNISA and Africa Bank.

– The Global Partnership Lead at Zindi, Tam Ogubai offered insights on how to sustain an ecosystem in addition to what it takes to sustainably meet the needs of large corporations.

– Concluding the day’s presentations, Daniel C. Doppler, President at Quicktext joined the session virtually to present his successful AI Super App. The current global AI and big data lead in the hospitality industry, he demonstrated how efficiently Quicktext is able to match global supply and demand in the hotel industry.

 

Following the series of presentations, the morning ended with a speed networking session to encourage further interaction with the speakers. Supporting Le Bridge through its long term involvement with French Tech, the French Embassy of South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi would like to congratulate all stakeholders for yet another successful event as we look forward to the next edition of Le Bridge in March 2024.
