Joburg French Cine Club: Le panache at the Bioscope

On Thursday 8 October 2026 at 19:00, the Joburg French Cine Club presents Le panache (Speak Out). This 2024 film is a dramatic comedy adapted from the play ‘Being Cyrano’ that tells the story of a boy who takes refuge in an imaginary world to escape the violence of his father.

Doors open at 18:30, with a ticket price of R100 including a complimentary glass of wine. Each screening is introduced briefly, offering context for the film. Organised with the support of IF Cinema / Institut Français. All foreign-language films screened at The Bioscope include English subtitles.

The Joburg French Cine Club runs on the second Thursday of each month until December 2026.
