Dibuka, the multimedia library of the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS), has launched a new WhatsApp channel, offering members a direct and accessible way to stay informed about library activities and resources.
Located at 70 Juta Street in Braamfontein, Dibuka hosts a collection of over 15,000 items, including novels, non-fiction, comics, childrenâs literature, magazines and CDs, alongside access to a digital library. The new channel extends this offer by providing regular updates directly to members.
Members can expect practical information on opening hours and services, highlights from the collection, and updates on new arrivals. The channel will also share guidance on accessing CulturethÚque and the online catalogue, as well as occasional news and activities linked to the library space and Dibukafé.
