In order to strengthen the scientific ties between France and South Africa, the French Embassy in South Africa is setting up targeted actions to develop scientific and technological exchanges between the two countries, such as the France - South Africa PROTEA Programme, in partnership with the National Research Foundation, and to enhance cooperation programmes on marine sciences, energy, agriculture, engineering sciences, amongst others.
