Enter the 2024 Francophonie competition and stand a chance to win a trip to France

The Francophonie Festival is an annual celebration of French language and cultural diversity that takes place globally.

The French Embassy in South Africa invites dynamic individuals aged 14 to 25 from South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi to join its 2024 Francophonie competition! Prizes range from gift vouchers to a trip to France! If French isn’t your mother tongue, you could win, among many prizes, one of four unforgettable trips to France!

Here is what you need to do to enter:

Unleash your creativity by submitting an original video in French of 2 minutes maximum, with English subtitles. Post the video to a hosting platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, WordPress) that the jury can access easily. In the video: react to the statement “French is an opportunity for me”.

Participants must be 16 or above to win a trip abroad. Participants younger than 16 may win gifts and vouchers.

Entries will close on 24 March 2024 23:59 Standard South African Time.
