What are Delf and Dalf?

DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and  DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official qualifications delivered by the French Department of Education to certify competencies of  non-French native speakers in the French language.

DELF and DALF qualifications are internationally recognised; they are consistent with the international standards for test development (www.alte.org) and the Common European Framework of reference for Languages (www.coe.int).

DELF and DALF are composed of 6 levels, each independently recognised as a diploma. Candidates can take the examination of their choice, according to their level. They may also sit the examinations for a number of diplomas during the same examination session.

At each level, 4 skills are evaluated:

  1. listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  2. There is a specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for teenagers called DELF junior.
  3. People who have passed the DALF (C1 or C2) are exempt from taking language tests for entrance into French universities.
  4. A mark of at least 50/100 is required in order to be awarded the diploma.
    DELF and DALF are lifetime diplomas.

What is Delf Prim?

DELF Prim is the first level in the DELF / DALF series covering  A1.1, A1 and A2 levels.
DELF Prim is intended for children aged 8 to 12 years who are beginners in French as a Foreign Language.

What is Delf Junior?

The diploma delivered is identical to the standard  DELF diploma. The junior version of DELF has the same basic structure as the standard DELF.
Only the topics are different, they take into account the interests of teenagers.
It can only be taken by students aged 13 to 18 years.

What is Delf Pro?

Delf Pro evaluates the French communication skills of professionals aiming at the promotion and/or placement within a French-speaking work environment.

Que sont le Delf et le Dalf?

Le DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) et le DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) sont des diplômes officiels délivrés par le Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale pour certifier les compétences en langue française.

Les qualifications du DELF et du DALF sont internationalement reconnues et sont conformes aux normes internationales de développement des tests (www.alte.org) et au Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues (www.coe.int).

Le DELF et le DALF sont composés de 6 niveaux, chacun reconnu indépendamment comme diplôme. Les candidats peuvent passer l’examen de leur choix, selon leur niveau. Ils peuvent également passer les examens pour un certain nombre de diplômes au cours de la même session d’examen.

À chaque niveau, 4 compétences sont évaluées:
La compréhension orale, L’expression orale, la compréhension écrite et l’expression écrite.
Il existe une version spécialement adaptée des diplômes du DELF pour adolescents appelés DELF junior.
Les personnes ayant passé le DALF (C1 ou C2) sont dispensées de faire des tests linguistiques pour entrer dans les universités françaises.
Une note d’au moins 50/100 est requise pour obtenir le diplôme.
Le DELF et le DALF sont des diplômes valable à vie.

Qu’est-ce que le Delf Prim?

Le DELF Prim est le premier niveau de la gamme DELF / DALF couvrant les niveaux A1.1, A1 et A2.
Le DELF Prim s’adresse généralement aux enfants de 8 à 12 ans débutants en français langue étrangère.

Qu’est-ce que le Delf Junior?

Le diplôme délivré est identique au diplôme DELF standard. La version junior du DELF a la même structure de base que le DELF standard.
Seuls les sujets sont différents, ils prennent en compte les intérêts des adolescents.
Il ne peut être passé que par des étudiants âgés de 13 à 18 ans.

Qu’est-ce que Delf Pro?

Le Delf Pro évalue les compétences en communication française des professionnels en vue d’une promotion et / ou placement dans un environnement de travail francophone.
