Deadline Extension – Proposals for Reimagining Heritage, Archives and Museums: Today/Tomorrow Convening

Arts and Creative Industries

With the end-of-year rush upon us, we’ve announced one final deadline extension for our call for proposals. You now have an extra two days to finalise and send in your submissions for the Reimagining Heritage, Archives and Museums: Today/Tomorrow convening taking place in Cape Town from 13 – 15 February 2024.

This convening is a chance for you to share your ideas and be involved in the future of heritage preservation, archival practices, and the role of museums in our communities. Proposals should have resonance within a Southern African or French context.

We are looking for proposals about best practice case studies, fresh ideas, new research, and creative thinking that highlight innovative approaches and engage with the themes of the convening. Proposals should be interesting, compelling, and participative.

Your proposal should be in the scope of workshops, panels, roundtables, talks, performances, screenings, walkabouts, site and studio visits, as well as in the format of pecha kucha 20 x 20 presentations (20 slides, 20 images, 20 seconds each), storytelling and more.

Find out more and drop your proposal here: https://lnkd.in/eeZZhmSx

This convening is an initiative of the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) and the Embassy of France.
