Over the coming weeks, Dibukafé will host a varied programme of screenings, discussions, and cultural encounters supported by the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS). These events bring together makers, thinkers, and audiences from across the region to exchange ideas and reflect on social and artistic issues.

Set against the backdrop of ongoing instability in Mali, this documentary examines how international peacekeepers have been drawn into complex local conflicts. Through first-hand accounts, Doves in Zero Gravity explores the consequences of failed peace efforts and considers what lessons can inform future operations. Panel discussion: Women’s Health and Wellness Debate

Patrick Weil, Founder and President of Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (Libraries Without Borders), will speak on new ways to extend access to books and culture in rural communities.
