WEBINAR: France – South Africa Cinematographic and Audiovisual coproduction agreement

Arts and Creative Industries

Looking at exploring the newly ratified Cinematographic and Audiovisual Coproduction agreement between France and South Africa, this second webinar will focus on its implementation and practical information.

Join us in this hands-on discussion with French, Empreinte Digitale’s Producer Joachim Landau, and South African Natives at Large Founder/Producer Ramadan Suleman. This case study discussion will have input from France’s Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), the National Film and Video Foundation and the Department of Trade and International Competition.

Remy Jacquelin of Paradoxal Consulting has a track record of successfully representing South African Series in the international markets for pre-sales, distribution, and financing, and will share his insights and experience around using official coproduction agreements versus co-financing, as well as key advice for successful coproductions.
