Call for projects – INNOV4GOOD

Science and Innovation

The INNOV4GOOD program is an ambitious initiative launched by the French Embassy in South Africa with the support of SAB Foundation and UNDP Malawi, designed to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in South Africa and Malawi. This inspiring program inspiring encompasses two major activities aimed at promoting and supporting innovative initiatives in these regions; debates and a competition.

About INNOV4GOOD

The Call for projects for INNOV4GOOD aims to reward and support three organizations working in essential areas for sustainable development and improving living conditions. These areas include:

  1. GreenTech: Encouraging projects that promote the green economy and ecological transition.
  2. Public Health: Supporting initiatives that improve public health and access to healthcare.
  3. Tech Inclusion: Promoting digital and technological inclusion to reduce inequalities.

This call for projects seeks to identify and select the most promising initiatives in the aforementioned themes. The three winning organizations would each receive a grant of €20,000 (approximately 400,000 rand depending on the exchange rate) to develop and amplify their project’s impact.

In addition to the financial grant, the winners would benefit from a learning expedition to Paris. This immersion would allow them to discover the local social innovation ecosystem and participate in Change Now!, one of the largest events dedicated to impact innovations.
