Applications for the INA Audiovisual Archives training for Southern Africa are open!
The purpose of this call for applications launched by the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) is to select audiovisual archive professionals to take part in a free online training program conceived by INA across 9 Southern African countries: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia. The training program will be developed based on the needs expressed in the call for application.
The call for application is open from September 17 to October 8, 2024. The selection committee, comprising INA, IFAS and representatives of the Embassies, will meet on October 9 and the selected applicants will be announced on October 14.
The French National Archive (INA – Institut National de l’Audiovisuel), known for their excellent courses in audio-visual archiving, will host a series of online webinars with the participation of industry experts.
The online training will take place in November 2024:
* 21-22 November 2024 and
* 25-26 November 2024.
There will be two sessions per day:
* 08:30-11:30 / 14:00-16:00 (SAT)
